My Birthday

Well yesterday was my birthday but i still feeel young and the same as I did the day before. The Lord blessed me yesterday with many gifts. The best gift was that my girls were more exited about my birthday than I was. I received many pages from coloring books as cards and then they made me Oreo cupcakes. The other great gift was my visit to the headmaster of our school here in Sekenani. I was with him for about an hour. We are having alot of youth from the school attend church now and I wanted to meet with him to see how I could further my relationship with them. By the way we had an awesome Sunday school class Sunday morning with 21 older youth. Anyway these kids that board here for school are very busy. I did not realize how busy they were. They have school form 8 a.m in the morning until 5 p.m then they break for supper then they have school from 7 p.m until 9 p.m. I was tinking how will I ever get time with the youth that are coming to church now. As the headmaster and I continued talking he said that everyday from 4 p.m to 5 p.m they have a different subject and Tuesdays were the group times. He told me I could take the 30 or so kids that are coming to church and have them for that hour on Tuesdays. I was very exited! Also I will Lord willing start teaching the CRE ( Christian Religion Education) class starting after the first of the year. It is 3 days a week at the school. This is what we have been praying for since we came here that God would give us the oppertunity to be more involved with the school. Well it was a great Birthday in many ways. We serve an awesome God . Continue to pray for us as we get more involved with the school, and remember me this week I will be preaching in church Sunday morning.
