School
Hello Everyone. Sorry for the long time in between the posts. My dad has been here and he is working me to death. We have got a lot accomplished so I am happy. Currently we have a situation in Kenya with school teachers. They are on strike! our school here in Sekenani was dismissed today because of no teachers. They are asking for 3,600 Kenya shillings more per month per teacher. That is about $50. So we will sit back and see what happens , but after being out of school for almost 6 weeks now they are out again. I bet there are some American kids that wish there teachers would strike. The problem is that when there is something you don't like you just strike. What is this teaching the younger generation? I heard on the radio that the minister of education told all headmasters to keep a list of the teachers that came and the ones that did not. He said that there were plenty of people out there that would gladly take there place. Pray with us about this situation.

Wow! We don't have teachers on strike in McDonugh. They are thankful to have a job. Today, in school, we saw parts of the inauguration in D.C. It was sad to see "former" Preident Bush leave. Thanks for the update!
Also, AnnaKate and I are getting baptized this Sunday! My dad will baptize me because he is an elder, and Mr. Jeff will baptize AnnaKate!
Praying for the kiddos in the school.
